Membership

Membership of the University of Melbourne Medical Society (UMMS) is free.

Who can join

• University of Melbourne medical graduates
• past and present members of the School of Medicine's academic staff
• people who have a strong association with the School of Medicine or its affiliated institutions, (as agreed by the UMMS committee)
• other legally qualified medical practitioners who are eligible for registration by the Medical Practitioners Board of Victoria

Member benefits

Members receive:

• the annual magazine 'Chiron'
• invitations to reunions of their MBBS graduate years and the UMMS annual function and lecture
• notice of events such as the Dean's Lecture Series and the faculty's annual ethics seminar
• news and information about fellow graduates and the School of Medicine
