University of Melbourne Medical Society (UMMS)The University of Melbourne Medical Society (UMMS) provides medical graduates with an opportunity for active, continuing links with the School of Medicine and the university as well as a means of staying in touch with former classmates. Many medical graduates keep in touch with each other at reunions of their MBBS graduation year. Find out more about medical graduate reunions. UMMS hosts an annual function and lecture for medical alumni to which all members receive an invitation. Find out more about the UMMS annual lecture and function. Many UMMS members make voluntary donations which support the School of Medicine’s teaching and research programs, student prizes and students in financial need.
