Project Outline

In order to ensure that students (and supervisors) are progressing adequately with the research component of this subject, students will be required to submit a summary of the rationale and design of their project (maximum length 1,000 words) to the Administrator, Advanced Medical Science at the end of week 6 (see Important Dates for your deadline). Students can submit their project outlines electronically to:

Guidelines will be emailed to students soon after the commencement of the AMS year.

Feedback on the summary will be provided to the student over the following two weeks. If problems with the project are identified, the Coordinator, Advanced Medical Science, will also liaise with the project supervisor to ensure that adequate support and guidance is being provided.

Students who undertook the subject Intermediate Epidemiology and Biostatistics must re-submit their project outline in early November (see Important Dates for your deadline), which forms the major part of their assessment for this subject. It is expected that students will take into account the feedback they received, and this will form part of the marking criteria. Outlines should be submitted to the above address, preferably electronically.
