Commencement of AMS year for all AMS units.

Duration of research methods subjects run by The University of Melbourne.

August 25, 2008
Students to submit Project Outline to the AMS Administrator (max. 1,000 words).

September 22, 2008
General feedback on Project Outline emailed to students over 2 to 3 weeks period.

November (tba) 2008
Students taking Intermediate Epidemiology and Biostatistics (Quantitative Methods subject) are required to re-submit project Outline for assessment to Stephen Farish.

November 10, 2008
Students to submit first Progress Report.

November 21, 2008
Semester 6 ends.

January 19, 2009
Semester 7 begins.

March 16, 2009
AMS Project Supervisors to nominate two project examiners.

April 6, 2009
AMS Project Supervisors to submit final Progress Report to AMS Administrator.

April 27, 2009
Student to submit project draft to AMS Project Supervisor. AMS Project Supervisor to notify AMS Administrator of receipt of draft research project.

May 22, 2009
Submission of final research reports to the AMS Administrator.

May 29, 2009
Semester 7 ends.
